Educational programs on wardrobe planning and purchasing, construction of items from fabric, and care of textile products.

  • Manage your wardrobe and household dollars by learning to sew.

  • 2010 Summer Sewing Day Camps - open to youth age 10-18. 
    June 22-25
    June 28-July 1
    Beginners earn their "sewing machine operator's license,"  make a care cloth as a service project for Hubbard House, an autograph bear, and sew pajama pants.  Intermediates choose from selected projects or bring materials to sew a garment. Campers participate in a Fashion Show. $30.

  • Register by mailing payment to Duval County Extension, Sewing Day Camp, 1010 N. McDuff Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32254.  Include name, age, address, phone number, and email address.
