Who can become a Master Food and Nutrition Volunteer?

Anyone with an interest in food preservation, food safety, or nutrition can apply to the Florida Master Food and Nutrition Volunteer program as long as it is active in their county of residence.  If you want to increase your knowledge on these subjects and you enjoy working with people, becoming a Florida Master Food and Nutrition Volunteer might be right for you.

Florida Master Food and Nutrition Volunteers are people who:

  • have an interest in food and nutrition
  • wish to contribute to their community
  • believe in continuing education
  • want to be affiliated with the Extension service
  • want to meet other volunteers
