Volunteer Programs

Master Food and Nutrition Education Volunteer (MFNV) 
These trained volunteers provide leadership and service to their community in food and nutrition activities. The Master Food and Nutrition Volunteer training program is seeking interested individuals to participate in this five week program. The training will be held at the Duval County Extension Office on the following 5 Thursdays: June 9, 16, 23, 30, and July 7th. Training sessions begin at 9:30 am and last until 3:00 pm.  Training will include topics, such as, basic nutrition, food safety, food preparation, and diabetes education.

Home and Community Educators program (HCE) 
It's main aim and objectives are to train women and men to be wise, astute consumers and home managers and be leaders in their club groups and communities.
