Financial Educator Volunteers

NEW! We have re-designed the Financial Educator Volunteer program. We hope to help volunteers become more confident teaching Money Smart and also become equipped to teach other curricula such as Financially Fit topics and Fresh Start. Potential volunteers attend one of three orientation sessions to learn the details of the program. They will then observe a workshop taught by an existing Financial Educator Volunteer and attend Money Smart Train the Trainer seminar. They complete the training by attending a Peer Teaching and Wrap-up workshop and sign a volunteer agreement . We will also offer in-service training annually to help volunteers stay up-to-date. Volunteers will agree to provide 30 hours of direct teaching during the year and attend 6 hours of in-service training.
